Our clinic undertakes a range of surgeries, from desexing to orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. All animals are placed on fluids to help maintain their blood pressure throughout surgery, and to ensure a comfortable recovery from their operation. We have the latest in monitoring equipment which allows us to monitor heart rate, breathing pattern, oxygenation of blood and blood pressure throughout the surgery to ensure the smoothest and safest anaesthetic.
Our veterinarians are all licensed to microchip your pet, and all cats and dogs must be microchipped by 12 weeks of age. This involves placing a small microchip between the shoulder blades, which allows rapid identification of your pet should it go missing.
The importance of proper dental care is often understated, however tartar, gingivitis and rotting teeth are very painful for your pet. Untreated dental disease can lead to abscessation of the gum, and even destruction of the underlying bone. We are able to advise you on the grade of dental disease your pet has, and if required perform a dental treatment. This involves a general anaesthetic, a scale and polish, and the removal of any damaged teeth to leave your pet with a gleaming smile.
